I've never been one personally to give Satan all the credit; what do I mean? Every situation that is uncomfortable or possibly even burdensome isn't always manifested or orchestrated by the enemy. I have found in living state to state that once again we blame someone else for what we don't want disturbed, uprooted or even upended in our lives by God's word and hand.
God has plans to ruffle feathers too!
We as children of God in this flesh, overcoming sin, are no different than Jacob wrestling God in the wilderness for the blessing. We wrestle with God often in our walk, where we want to confess His name, we want to indulge in His blessings, but we wrestle with Him to carry His true identity He desires to clothe us in. Like Jacob blessing his son Joseph with the robe of many colors, God so desires that we be robed in the blood of Christ.
In the first chapter of the book of Ruth, she suffers some loss and then she finds her heart is full of bitter grievance, in v. 20, Naomi detests her name because of hardship and her only encouragement is to discourage others from seeing what God is about to do and encourage them that she was utterly broken and useless.
She even proclaimed in v. 21, "I went out full and the Lord has brought me home again empty!"
I consider this woman was right! She was truly on to something and if I consider God, His purpose and His plan, I am confident that this is a message for today! For right now!
We are full of ourselves and we need to be emptied!
Let us examine our hearts before the Lord, and consider where we have been, what we picked up and what we can't lay down!
Let us pray for our need is great and the Word declares that we can come to God's throne of grace and mercy in our greatest times of need! We need to be emptied of the falsehoods of our past, our upbringings, our opinions, their opinions, our sinful thoughts, and their false thoughts of us as well!
Let us lay down our plans, plots, schemes and ideas and relinquish our minds and hearts to the Lord, that we may be renewed, refreshed and restored (Romans12:2) according to His will for our lives, not ours!
Let us lay down skeptical assumptions of God, crude imaginations and old wives tales that we have allowed to cloud righteous judgments, and corrupt our hearts, minds and souls.
Let us pray for the Lord to guard our mouths and tongues that is so easily corrupted by words that speak destruction, and not edification.
I pray the need for us to confess deliverance from the fullness of sitting on the throne of our hearts and wanting to rule our own lives.
I pray our need for deliverance from living a high maintenance, tithe-less and fruitless lives that we find continues to sow discord with our obedience, making us disobedient to God, and now if not careful, we may have possibly become friends with the world.
Let us not become wolves in sheep's clothing!
I pray lastly for deliverance from the "life behind false words and lies that we have spoken over ourselves, our families, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, children, even generations to come, words we speak over our jobs, future, finances, relationships, ministries and even ask God's forgiveness of how we speak against His anointed!
I pray deliverance from these words designed to kill, steal an destroy. Words that we must renounce and and thoughts to retract under the blood that have been actually manifesting and orchestrating our steps and operate in our lives right now!
I pray we may truly begin to examine what we are full of! I pray we confess these sins to the Lord! I pray the Lord in all His mercy, grace and generosity will empty us and cleanse us once again through and through with the Blood and by the Blood of Jesus! Amen!
Until Next Time Beloved, Read the Word to Know Him!
