Audacity

Luke 18: 1-6 ~ Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”

Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said.  And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?  I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

At first, it began as a mother’s heart banging on the doors of heaven, but as I have gone from faith to faith with the Lord, it has since turned into a “believer by faith” knocking on heaven’s door. The continuous knocking is so the Lord in due time will intercede and allow His promises in Christ Jesus to come to pass in my life and in the life of those I am believing Him for!

From the moment I accepted Christ, it didn’t take long for me to begin singing unto the Lord. My first experience with the Holy spirit being present was back in the late 90’s at a church service in NYC. The Holy spirit filled the room; I mean I was in awe, I have not stopped singing since. Yet, something else began to happen as the years went on and I walked by faith, I began to WORSHIP!

The Lord matured me unto a spiritual melody that has continued to carry over many years and it is all in His name and for His glory……

My Shout!

The word of God declares that many victories have been won by the worship and lifting of the hands in surrender (Exo 15:20-27; Exo 17). There are times we are unable to even lift our hands at all (Luke 18:13), but our shout shakes heaven and earth (1 Cor 3).

I thank God that I no longer use my elevated voice to harm someone with my words or speak things that aren’t true (Philippians 4:8)!

But let us rejoice and give God glory that in His presence we can lift our hands until the fighting is done (Exo 17), we can shout until all our enemies scatter in all directions (Deut 28:7), We can even declare that peace will be ushered in for forty years (Judges 3:9-11)!

God is faithful, let your shout be bold and faithful too! (Heb 4:16)

Today, in Jesus’ name I thank God that I get to practice down here what I long to do for eternity in heaven in His presence.

Worship the Lord!

I love how the Word of God says I can come boldly, and honestly, I have been. I considered every way I was bold in my sin. I consider how we used to shout, yell and scream out many things in our sin, but now that we are made new (2 Cor 5:17), and we have been transformed (Ezk 36:26).

No matter what we are going through, what is coming at us hard, though we are struck down, we have not been destroyed (2 Cor 4:7-11).

Though some seasons have changed, and some storms are brewing on the horizon; though at times it may seem as though sorrow lasted too long, Joy really does come in the morning, keep seeking the Lord’s presence and His righteousness.

Beloved: I am not sure where you are today, what you need, who you are believing God to save, what form your adversaries have taken and where they need to be scattered! I don’t know who you want God to heal, to deliver, and set free!

I don’t know what you may be afraid to ask for, or what you need to lay down at His feet, whatever it is, it is written “Come Boldly!” (Heb 4:16)

He says, “Run to Me! not away from Me!”

Keep knocking, Keep Worshipping, Keep Praising, Keep Glorifying, Keep Honoring and Adoring your Savior, who has made a way out of no way. (Luke 18:1-6)

Until Next time Beloved, Read the Word to Know Him!
